Today was an exciting day for our little girls. At a ceremony in the Grade R playground, the Grade R class of 2022 were introduced to their respective houses at Brescia House School.

The first phase of the Inter House Athletics was held on Monday 10 October. Our athletes participated in the 1500m, long jump and high jump events and achieved wonderful results across the board.

Brescia House School is proud to be a Founding Member of the International Coalition of Girls’ Schools (ICGS). Today, the ICGS is educating and empowering more than 300 000 students at 375 schools in 17 countries around the world.

The Grade R girls have been learning about measurement by measuring and comparing the sizes of the wild animals using unifix blocks.

Charlotte Black competed in the American Dance Awards competition in the Novice Hip-Hop category.

Yesterday the entire school body gathered on the lawns and filled in the shape of a massive pawprint to raise awareness for the SANParks K9 unit.

The Grade 3’s read the story “The Messy Magpie” which opened a very important discussion as to how litter impacts our Earth and then they brainstormed how we can help improve our environment.

The Grade 2 girls have been creating beautiful artworks as we celebrate and learn all about our heritage.
