At Brescia House School we held the Crowning of Mary Service on Friday, 19 May, at the start of our school day.

This morning, Brescia House School once again teamed up with Pick ‘n Pay Epsom Downs to serve freshly baked chelsea buns to passers-by on Sloane Street, Bryanston as part of their Catholic Schools Week.

The Brescia House School Equestrian team was out in full force this weekend, enjoying the weather and the fact that it was the first full weekend of competing with no cancellations due to rain.

Saturday's hockey matches were a thrilling display of nail-biting, non-stop action as our Open and U14 Teams went head-to-head with Linden.

Christine Jackson swam for the Gauteng Schools' team in the SA Schools Swimming Championship held during the holidays. She achieved two gold medals for the 100m breaststroke and the 200m breaststroke.

For the first time since Covid, Odyssey was offered as an option to our Grade 10 and 11 pupils.

Brescia House School will be making its debut at FEDA (Festival of Excellence in Dramatic Arts) this year, and we look forward to watching our high school pupils' performances at the Johannesburg Theatre.

We are delighted that our Ursuline Global Education tours are underway again. Two groups left on Sunday - one to the Ursuline Academy in Dallas, Texas, and the other to the Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, Missouri.
