High School Choir Cantamus Choral Festival
From August 10 – 13, the Brescia House School Choir had the amazing opportunity to be part of the Cantamus Choral Festival in George. The festival, hosted at the scenic Tramonto Venue, brought together 22 choirs from across South Africa. We are delighted to share that the Brescia House School Choir secured second place in our category at the competition – but the magic didn’t end there. On the way back, the choir explored the stunning Cango Caves and even gifted them with their music by performing in the caves. At least 2 tour guides were moved to tears after listening to our choir sing in the amazing acoustics. Our students did us proud with many compliments about their excellent manners, behaviour and singing. A heartfelt shoutout to Mr. Gareth Dry for his spirited direction and leadership that brought so much joy and passion to our performances. What a delightful celebration of our talents and a truly memorable experience of our beautiful country. #Insieme
