Intermediate Phase
In the Primary School there are two phases namely, the Foundation Phase - Grade R to 3 and the Intermediate Phase - Grade 4 to 6.
Intermediate Phase
Message from the Deputy Head

The Intermediate Phase is a remarkable time in a girl's life. Between Grades 4 and 6, students begin to develop a stronger sense of who they are, what they value, and how they can contribute positively to the world around them. It is a period of growth, challenge, discovery, and increasing independence.
At Brescia House School, we are committed to nurturing the whole child. While academic achievement remains important, we recognise that true success is found in developing young women who are curious, compassionate, resilient, and confident in their own abilities. We encourage our girls to embrace challenges, learn from mistakes, and approach each day with courage and a willingness to grow.
Our Catholic Ursuline heritage and the spirit of Serviam provide the foundation for all that we do. Through meaningful relationships, opportunities for leadership, and a strong sense of belonging, we guide our students to understand that their gifts are not only for personal success but also for service to others. We want every girl to know that she can make a positive difference within her community.
The Intermediate Phase offers countless opportunities for girls to discover their strengths, develop new skills, and build lasting friendships. Whether in the classroom, on the sports field, on the stage, or through service initiatives, our students are encouraged to participate fully and to strive for personal excellence in all they undertake.
As educators, our privilege is to walk alongside each girl as she develops the knowledge, character, and confidence needed for the next stage of her journey. Together with our families, we seek to create an environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to become the very best version of herself.
