Towards the end of the term, the Grade 3s collaborated in small groups in order to apply their knowledge about fractions to create a “Fraction Avenue” of houses.

The Grade 3’s played some mini hockey fixtures today against St Teresa’s. The hockey girls had a blast and all the girls who were not playing were able to sing war cries and support their friends. What a lovely morning!

Our Grade 1s are still learning about famous artists and are showing off their creative skills. This is our collaborative class version of Van Gogh’s famous sunflowers.

The Grade 3s had great fun propagating their own little Spekboom plant for our Eco Project this term.

The Grade 2s enjoyed writing their own letters to Madiba thanking him for all he has done for us.

Our Grade 3s have just completed an Inquiry Based Learning Activity aligned with their current theme, Alice in Wonderland. The activity was an Escape Room

where the girls worked collaboratively in groups to solve the different clues.

In Grade 1, our mini-Monet’s have been hard at work creating their lily pond masterpiece. They worked collaboratively when blending and mixing colours for the pond.

During RE, the Grade 2 learners listened to the story about the 10 Plagues. They had fun colouring-in and making this spinning wheel to test their knowledge. The Grade 1s listened to the story of Jonah and the whale.
