Parent Teacher Association
The Parent Teacher Association exists to provide platforms for growing good relationships between the parents of Brescia House School, academic staff and non-academic staff. It is made up of selected academic staff members and elected parents/guardians.
The PTA facilitates a number of social events during the year with the goal of bringing parents, pupils and staff together. The PTA plans and hosts various fundraisers and other social events throughout the year, assisted by Class Convenors who assist with communication to the parents. Funds raised by the PTA are channelled towards capital projects which help to uplift our school facilities, creating a safer and better environment for our pupils.
The PTA committee term is one year term, and new members are appointed at the PTA AGM which is held annually in the first term.

What is MyDifference?
MyDifference is the new and improved version of the MySchool MyVillage MyPlanet programme. Through MyDifference, Woolworths donates a percentage of your qualifying spend to a beneficiary of your choice at no additional cost to you.
By selecting Brescia House School as your beneficiary, you can help raise funds for important school projects simply by shopping at participating retailers.
Currently, the MyDifference programme contributes more than R10,000 per month to Brescia. With greater participation from our school community, this contribution can grow significantly and support even more development initiatives.
Important Information for Existing MySchool Members
If you previously supported Brescia through the MySchool Card programme, you will need to download the MyDifference App and re-select Brescia House School as your beneficiary.
Please note that beneficiaries selected under the old MySchool system do not automatically transfer to MyDifference.

The Annual PTA Golf Day is one of the PTA’s flagship fundraisers aimed at attracting our golfing enthusiasts. This is a great opportunity to enjoy a day out with other Brescia House School parents and the community at large. The Annual PTA Golf Day offers businesses within the community to advertise to a discerning target market while also offering hole sponsorship opportunities. Look out for upcoming communication concerning this event!
The PTA Brescia Mothers’ Lunch offers our Brescia Moms and Staff members an opportunity enjoy a relaxed Saturday luncheon hosted by the PTA. The aim of this event is to raise funds for a nominated charity which addresses the needs of disadvantaged women.
One of the core duties of the PTA is to raise funds in order to reinvest the monies back into development projects for the school. The School Walkway was one of the PTA’s greatest Project for 2021. More recently, the PTA funds were allocated towards the construction of the grandstand by the aquatic complex.
