High School Assembly

Each week in assembly, the High School learn how to greet people in a different language. On Monday 19th June, it was about sign language.Aviwe Jemane (Cultural Liaison for eDeaf) and Dimakatso Motimele (Sign Language Interpreter for eDeaf and Brescia House School Class of 2012) joined us for assembly. Aviwe shared her life story as a person deaf from birth, while Dimakatso interpreted. They also taught the High School some basic phrases like hello, goodbye and thank you.
