New Year 2021

New Year 2021

In his address on Monday, 28th December, President Cyril Ramaphosa called on our nation not to celebrate the New Year with fireworks, but rather to light candles at midnight as a symbol of unity. Let us pray for those who are suffering, for our country, and for our global community.

We are reminded of our Serviam badge with the seven stars representing the little bear constellation, Ursa Minor. Ursa Minor contains one of the most important stars in the heavens, Polaris, commonly known as the North Star. It is by means of this star that ancient travellers would find their way, find their direction. We pray that God will guide us as we enter a new year, together in unity. Wishing our Brescia House School community a most blessed, safe and happy 2021.
