Well done to our Grade 6 girls who participated in the annual Kids' Lit Quiz: Tarushai Maharaj, Enya O'Connell-Hussey, Sophy van Hagen and Lauren Wakefield.  The Johannesburg leg of the quiz was held at De La Salle on Thursday, 30 July and was won by this Grade 6 team of girls from Brescia House School.

The team proceeded to the National round which was held at Exclusive Books, Rosebank on Saturday, 1 August. The Brescia House team was faced with tough competition from schools from throughout South Africa.  However, they kept their cool, worked superbly as a team and achieved third place in the National competition.

The International competition held on Monday, 3 August at Constitution Hill was won by the British team.

Our thanks go to the teachers who have encouraged the girls and promoted reading in the primary school.
